Terms of use
Last updated: Monday, October 19, 2026
The rules for using PartyPulse, whether you run a game or play in one.
Purpose and acceptance
These terms of use govern your use of the website quiz.leclubplus.fr and the PartyPulse service, published by LA09TV-PROD.
By creating an account or joining a game, you accept these terms. Purchases are also governed by our terms of sale.
These terms are available in French, English and Spanish. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
The service
PartyPulse lets you run live quizzes: the organizer shows the questions on a screen and players answer from their phones.
The features available depend on the chosen plan (Free, Party Pass, Pro or Enterprise), as described on the pricing page.
Organizer account
To create quizzes and run games, organizers create an account with their e-mail and name, then sign in with a password, a magic link or their Google account.
You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
Players
Players join a game with a code and a nickname, with no account and no e-mail address.
Please pick a decent nickname: the organizer can remove a player whose nickname or behaviour causes problems.
Nicknames, answers and scores are deleted automatically 90 days after the game.
Acceptable use
You must not publish or share through PartyPulse any content that is illegal, hateful, discriminatory, violent, harassing, or that infringes other people’s privacy or rights.
You must not disrupt the service either: no bots, no mass automated requests, no bypassing plan limits, no intrusion attempts or reverse engineering.
Your content and media
You keep ownership of the quizzes you create and the media you upload (images, sounds, videos), and you alone are responsible for them.
You guarantee that you hold all the rights needed for this content, and you grant us a limited licence to host and display it during your games, solely to operate the service.
LA09TV-PROD may remove, without notice, any content that is clearly illegal or reported as such, and will let the organizer know where possible.
Music and public performance
Playing music in public (bar, restaurant, venue, event) requires the organizer’s own licences from collective management societies: SACEM and SPRE in France, and the equivalent bodies elsewhere.
PartyPulse does not provide these licences. It is up to the organizer to obtain them for the sounds they upload or play.
Media in the official library is royalty-free only.
AI quiz generation
Automatic question generation relies on an artificial intelligence provider (Anthropic, Claude API). The theme, text, document or web address you provide is sent to it to produce the quiz.
AI can get things wrong: check the questions and correct answers before starting a game.
Do not include personal data or confidential information in your generation requests.
PartyPulse’s property
The service, its interface, code, brand and official library remain the property of LA09TV-PROD or its partners.
You receive a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use them for as long as you use the service.
Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it available and reliable, but cannot guarantee it will never be interrupted, in particular during maintenance.
To the extent permitted by law, LA09TV-PROD is not liable for indirect damage or for content published by users. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law guarantees to consumers.
Suspension and termination
If these terms are breached, we may suspend or delete an account, after a warning except in urgent cases or serious violations.
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may update these terms; you will be told in advance about any significant change.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first at contact@la09tv-prod.fr so we can try to settle it amicably. Consumers may also use a consumer mediator free of charge: [TO BE COMPLETED: consumer mediator].
Failing an agreement, the French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protective rules that consumers enjoy in their country of residence.
